Pro TradingView comes to Swapr’s Eco Router

Updated 2023.01.11

Making its debut in the latest Swapr release is the Pro TradingView. This is bound to add a whole new dimension to your Swapr trades and we are very excited to tell you all about it. We realize this feature is a little more niche in character, but can assure you that the Pro TradingView is something everyone can use, even if it is just for interest’s sake. For those less familiar with advanced trading tools, we have taken the liberty of compiling this short informational post to point out the basics and get you started.

We also realize there will be users that have no intention or interest of ever using the Pro TradingView. Rest assured if you happen to be one of them. This view will not be active by default and it will still be the same Swapr UI you have come to love and trust. For those users wishing to take advantage of the Pro TradingView it will be accessible after you have navigated to Swapr and activated it with the toggle, at the top right of the SwapBox by clicking [PRO]. To turn off the Pro TradingView, click [OFF].

The Pro TradingView

Swapr Pro TradingView

While this preview does not do the real view justice, it is sufficient to give you an idea of what to expect from the Pro TradingView. There will be a wealth of information at your fingertips and a host of customizations for you to explore. Let’s get straight to it and show you what informational sections are available and where to find the customization menus.

Once the Pro TradingView is visible, the next step is to select the pair you want to trade and enter it into the SwapBox. The SwapBox will sit to the far right of the screen. Once entered, Swapr will automatically populate all the menus and tools with the relevant information related to your chosen pair.

Now let’s break down each section…

The Chart (Graph)

Pro Trading View Chart/Graph

Offset to the left and taking up a large portion of the screen is the Trading Chart (Graph). The trading chart’s default display will be in “candlestick mode”. On the chart are a number of menus that provide you with different options related to trading analytics for further customization. We have numbered them in yellow from 1–5. We invite you to explore these and make the chart your own.

The Trades Table

(left) Trades Table (right) SwapBox

The Trades table sits between the chart and the SwapBox. It displays a consolidated list of the most recent swaps placed, across different DEXes, on the pair you have chosen. The menu items on the top denote each column and the icon on the very left indicates the AMM or aggregator where the trade took place. Clicking anywhere on one of the trade line items will take you to the relevant chain’s explorer where you can see the full details of the transaction.

Pool Activity

Pool Activity Table

Below the SwapBox is the Pool Activity table. This table has two functions. One is to show you the most recent activity with regards to liquidity, both withdrawals and deposits. The other function is to give you the option to add liquidity to your chosen pair in Swapr. In the event that you wish to add liquidity, simply click the [ADD LIQUIDITY] button and Swapr immediately redirects you to the Add Liquidity page, allowing you to then add liquidity in Swapr. In the future, this action will also give you the option to add liquidity across any of the DEXes in a truly permissionless manner. As with the Trades table, clicking anywhere on one of the liquidity line items, will take you to the relevant chain’s explorer where you can see the full details of the transaction.

Order History / Open Orders

Order History and Open Orders Table

Finally, below the Chart and the Trades is the Order History / Open Orders section. This section displays both your order history and the open orders that are still in the process of completing. Unlike the other tables, if a line item has a link it will be in the TX column. From here you will be able to click through to the relevant chain’s explorer to see more details about the transaction.

There you have it. The where-to and how-to of our new Pro TradingView. We hope this little guide was enough to get you started and that this new feature can enhance your trading experience. As always, if you have any questions or comments, we invite you to join in the conversation in our Discord.

If you are new to the Swapr family, some of our most recent articles are a must read. Especially the one about the Eco Router. The Eco Router is an amazing feature that helps you get the best trades possible, with no extra fees and without you ever having to leave the Swapr front end. Then there is also the post about MEV Protection that highlights the integration of Swapr with CoW Protocol. These posts cover some of the most prominent benefits of using Swapr and why it is easy to see why it is trusted by so many users as their go-to AMM, especially in today’s crypto environment.

What’s on the horizon?

Currently this is only the first iteration of the Pro TradingView and the plan is to make it available on more DEXes and Networks in the future. We are looking at the possibility of combining and aggregating DEXes across chains and giving you more insights around the swaps happening there. We will also continue to upgrade the graph to ensure it remains relevant.

There are still a host of features in the Swapr pipeline and although we have already teased this, we are not sure there is a Limit to how many times we can or should…
