This article demonstrates how to select multiple lines of text in the Sublime Text editor and type the same string at the end of each line.

Steps

Select Lines of Text

Highlight two or more lines of text in the editor.

Keybindings to Split Selection to Multiple Lines

The following keybindings split the selection by line and position a cursor at the end of every line:

macOS: Cmd + Shift + L

Linux & Windows: Ctrl + Shift + L

Enter the Text

Tap the right arrow on your keyboard to remove the text selection so that you don’t overwrite the selected text, then enter the text that you want to include at the end of each selected line.
