INTRODUCTION
BakaJohn is a collection of 500 free mint dynamic NFTs, and it is built on Polygon. After each transaction, the characteristics of John on the NFT will change, such as facial expression and wear. In the beginning, John is a good guy, but he will become angrier and angrier.
All the BakaJohn are drawn by one of our artists, 夏到政傑. BakaJohn is a guy who is loving Taiwanese culture, so the item on his hand and the cloth he wears are related to Taiwan.
All our team members love Taiwanese local culture, so we hope this project can promote the good side of Taiwanese local culture to all around the world.
BACKGROUND OF BakaJohn
Once upon a time, there was a guy named John. John is a lovely person who likes to play the guitar. John has a beautiful girlfriend, Jenny. Like every boy falling in love, he can do anything for his lover just to see her smile.
However, things were not going well all the time. Jenny was attracted to another guy, “Bagajong” from Taiwan. Jenny was obsessed with Bagajong’s tattoo and his fierce appearance. In the end, Jenny cuckolded John and started a relationship with Bagajong.
After losing the love of his life, John lost his mind entirely. He became angry day by day. Finally, he becomes Bakajohn
DYNAMIC MECHANISM
Our John will change after the first three transactions. He will be a good guy first. For example, smiling or crying facial expressions. After the transaction, he will become more furious. In the end, he will become a mad bad guy.

ABOUT TEAM&PROJECT
We are a group of university students who love Taiwan’s BakaJohn culture. This group consists of 12 members, including smart contract developer, artist, consultant, front/back end developer, and marketing.
In the beginning, we want to learn the knowledge of blockchain during the summer vacation, and promote the good sides of Taiwanese local culture. Therefore, this NFT project was launched.
In the first step, we started to introduce Taiwanese culture. We posted some pictures about Taiwanese culture accessories, such as blue-and-white slippers, fried chicken chop, and broom. We also introduce memes and slangs in Taiwan. Next, we begin to develop website and smart contract. Finally, we are going to mint at September 17th, 2022.
This project lasts for 2~3 months. It is not a long-term operation. Our goal is to mint all the collection of NFTs freely. After all NFTs mint, this project will end.
ROADMAP
We will randomly choose one guy to give a broom if all the NFTs are sold out!
