SWIPE Bi-Weekly Update, 8th — 21st October
Hello SWIPE Community! Welcome back to another Bi-weekly Update from the SWIPE team! The cryptomarket has been unusually peaceful lately, however, it is business as usual for projects who are building real technology and use cases. We have so many exciting updates to make so let’s dive right into it!
On the 2nd of November, SWIPE, together with Liquid, a crypto-exchange will be co-organizing a meetup in Jakarta, Indonesia. Joining us in this event will be PundiX, Wanchain and Hara all of which are outstanding projects that you should definitely check out!

SWIPE featured on ICO Analytics
SWIPE is humbled and proud to be featured on a newly published list byICO Analytics, detailing upcoming projects invested by cryptocurrency and blockchain venture capitalist firms. Hong-Kong based Kenetic Capital is SWIPE’s cornerstone adviser and investor and are one of the best known VCs in the Asia-Pacific region, having obtained an early adopter status. Kenetic Capital currently boasts a stellar portfolio featuring Zilliqa, Bluzelle and Kyber Network and more.
12th October: Blockpost app listed in Appstore!
After a long wait, we are happy to notify our community that our iOS users can finally install Blockpost on their iOS devices! Blockpost is an app created by SWIPE as a demonstration and prototype of our SDK capabilities. It is a crypto-enthusiast best friend, with access to the latest news, market prices and ways to earn crypto via ads and earndrops tasks.
However, do take note that due to the strict regulations and restrictions imposed by Apple, the full suite of SDK features are cannot be utilized as of this moment. We are working closely with Apple to have Blockpost fully approved with all its core features. To enjoy the full functionality of our app, we encourage installing the AndroidOS version from the Google Play store. Blockpost is currently still in Alpha stage, therefore keep a lookout for future developments and software updates!

Growing list of Apps in the SWIPE Network
SWIPE is happy to announce significant progress made with the adoption and integration of the SWIPE SDK and network. At the moment, we have over 15 apps, commanding a combined userbase of over 2 million users in Southeast Asia. Our app developers are excited to be part of SWIPE due to the benefits and capabilities we introduce in data monetization and data analytics, with the added benefit of privacy protection of users. All apps listed in this picture has signed a MOU with SWIPE.
19th October: Blockchain Developer Friday
SWIPE’s COO, Iyan presented at Blockchain Developer Friday, a new series of events that caters to sharing blockchain technology with developers. Along with Hara and Blocktempo which is a Taiwan based crypto news site, a very constructive meetup took place as developers learned more about different types of blockchain use cases and how to get started.
21st October: Unchained Blockchain Conference
SWIPE was present at the Unchained 2018 event held in Singapore, which aims to further public education about blockchain technology by working with key grassroots leaders. SWIPE is thankful and proud to be able to be part of this moment in spearheading the development and adoption of blockchain technology.
