Meet the SwissBorg Team
Guillaume Notz was born and raised in Lausanne, Switzerland, SwissBorg’s headquarters, to a Psychoanalyst mother and IT engineer father. A happy childhood, growing up in the Swiss mountains where he became an avid snowboarder, skier and hiker was followed by a successful university career. Guillaume received his Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Psychopathology from the University of Lausanne.
While at the university he began working for the Erasmus student association. As Vice President of the group, for three years, he learned how to manage a dynamic and multinational community. His mission was to provide the best welcome possible to the diverse group of students that descended upon the campus from all over the world. Guillaume believes that his years at Erasmus were an invaluable lesson in the joys of bringing a community together through networking, activities, and events.
As a teen, he loved music and became an avid creator of play-lists. After finishing his studies Guillaume Notz started working for Ishtar Music Booking Agency as a production assistant. At Ishtar Music, he realized that he was a quick learner with an ability to grasp new ideas and implement new methods for production at organization of events. He learned “everything” about the music business but more than that he learned the importance of precision and agility in the world of music production. Juggling different artists he learned to manage a group that is notoriously difficult to manage. He became good and logistics of events, at coordination and problem resolution.
Fascinated by the pioneering aspect of blockchain and crypto space, Guillaume applied to become an executive assistant to head of Legal and Finance departments at SwissBorg. He has a myriad of responsibilities at the new crypto wealth management company: gathering data for KYC, keeping track of administrative work, banking, document flow, contracts for new hires and conducting legal research.
Guillaume believes that “blockchain technology will revolutionize every field that we know.” He is excited about working for a team with a start-up culture where the work is never dull and always exciting, “it is really interesting to be a part of this change in the world of finance and learn the different aspects of this space.”
To SwissBorg he brings his love of assisting people, his administrative know-how, and three qualities that he has cultivated, that are well suited to the young and still volatile crypto space: patience, calm nerves, and faith.
