The State of Switch Survey 2018

Figuring out how people use Nintendo’s hybrid

The Nintendo Switch is fast approaching it’s first ‘birthday’ — the console launched worldwide on March 3, 2017. After such a strong start, already outselling the Wii U’s lifetime sales, I’ve decided to put together a short survey to try and make sense of it all.

The survey wants to know a few things, such as how you use your Switch (such as whether you play mainly Docked or Handheld), what games you have, what games you want and what you want from the hybrid console going forward.

I’ve designed the survey so you can breeze through it — it should take about ten minutes to complete, and it’s mobile friendly, so no matter what you’re reading this on, you’ll be able to quickly tap your way through it and offer your thoughts.

Hopefully, we’ll get a good picture of how people are using their Switch, and what games they want on the platform in the year ahead. I’d really love to do this every year to eventually build up a full picture of the Switch’s life.

I’ll be sure to share the results in full once the survey is complete. You can follow Switch Weekly or my personal Twitter for further updates on this.

Check out the survey, and let me know of feedback you may have.

Thanks! 🙂
