In 2023 Q3, Switchboard has officially announced and launched its new iteration that revolutionizes the oracle industry. Switchboard V3 utilizes Trusted Execution Environments, introducing smarter oracles for smarter contracts.
Genesis of Switchboard V3
With the genesis of V3, instead of the traditional oracles where only data feeds are provided, Switchboard goes far and beyond — verifiable off-chain computations. Developers are able to delegate computation resources off-chain while access data from Web2. This opens up capabilities for use cases such as Real World Assets (RWAs), private/gated APIs and this is only scratching its surface. Switchboard V3 is live on Solana and EVM chains such as Arbitrum, Base, Optimism and more. In Q4, we’ll be sharing case studies of how various verticals can utilize Switchboard Functions.
