Every second person is a Marketing Expert these days.

At least, that’s what they call themselves in their bios.

The problem is: Most of them lied.

And then shared one of these big fat lies about good marketing:

Your brand is the hero

Nope! Your customer is the hero.

You’re the trusty sidekick.

Your brand should make the hero even better.

Instead of talking about your brand, talk about your client and how you can be a solution to her problem. Focus on the future state. What would life be like once your product or service is in her life?

Don’t tell it. Show it.

Go straight for the sale

Nope! Build tons of trust first.

Marketing is like dating.

Do you really want your brand to be like that trashy Tinder date that wants to jump straight in bed with you?

Well, that’s how it feels to your prospects if you jump right in with a conversion ad.
