If you are a beginner in the architecture or virtualization design world, then it is really hard to choose the right software to start with. There are many options out there. Each of them has different issues and similarities. It makes the newcomer more confused. So, it needs to pile up the goods and bads of different 3d rendering software.

Top best 3D Architectural Rendering Visualization Software

· V-Ray

There is no real survey took on a place to demonstrate which rendering software is used more frequently, but when it comes to V-Ray, there is more than 50% chance of seeing a V-Ray software is being used by a 3D designer or architecture’s office. This software without any doubt is the most used rendering software till now. The most important part of this software is, this one comes with a great collection of materials and textures and with these default features, V-Ray can give astonishing realism to renders.

This amazing software is made to help the users to recreate the reality of shadows, lights, and colors. V-Ray is an amazing tool that offers some multiple levels of different options and a lot of versatility. And this is the reason why newcomers don’t find it very difficult to use this software and once they have got into it, they lost within it.

What is more amazing is that V-Ray can be used with another popular architectural rendering software through Plugin. Many experts say that this software is the best option for the customization of lighting & shadows. And we all know how important it is to showcase the perfect lighting & shadows in a rendered image.

· 3Ds Max

Though sometimes some people criticize 3Ds Max for its mid to low-quality output. But no matter what they say, 3Ds Max is one of the most used and best architectural visualization software. All of the tools and functionalities of this software is pretty solid except a bit shaky rendering and its onboard 3D Modeling software works in conjunction. But this software is well-optimized works damn perfectly when it is paired with AutoCAD or AutoDesk Revit.

However, if you are using 3Ds Max with Revit to do 3D rendering, the onboard renderer in 3Ds Max comes into the play. While when Revit comes with into the play of rendering single-handedly, it is limited with lack of flexibility, and the end results it produces are very poor quality. If you guys work with Revit, then you always should import the model into 3Ds Max to manipulate the model. It results in better rendering and visualization.

· Blender

For architectural rendering or any kind of architectural visualization services, Blender is a tool that is a potential tool for every architects and designer. If you are a new-learner, Blender is a tool that will be my first choice for you to make. Because it is free, it is versatile and works quite well.

Many people think Blender looks and works like a toy just because this is free. But it is totally no the case. This is an open-source platform where a user can use its tools and features right from the internet. Now if we are talking about the quality of it, then I have to say that, Blender lies within the top 5 positions. Because of its open-source platform and countless tools and features, this visualization software is damn good at representing the lighting of a rendering. It can give you a close to near realistic look to your rendering image.
