Entrepreneurs typically make the mistake of just being workhorses, fighting fires every day and making sure they’re at peak productive performance.

Getting through to-do lists that never seem to end, sitting through back to back meetings and building the business is a full-time job.

It never seems like we have the time to sit back and reflect.

These are the 3 questions I typically ask myself every 3/6 months when I review my company direction.

1. Have You Reached the Dunning-Kruger Peak?

Do you know the Dunning-Kruger effect?

It is a cognitive bias where we overestimate our competence and overestimate our own knowledge relative to our peers.

You know the feeling when you’re talking to a new startup in your field and you think “Ah, this rookie is just starting out, I can’t learn anything from him”.

Yeah, it’s easy to fall prey to that.
