3 Things That Absolutely Obliterated My Productivity Last Year
I’m cutting them out of my life, or trying to at least
Last year, I set myself a goal to write consistently.
I didn’t set any specific targets, like 3 articles a week or 20 articles a month, instead I simply told myself to write consistently.
Consistent means something different to different people. To me, it means getting into a routine and being able to stick to it (with wiggle room, of course).
I found that, although I was generally able to stick to my goal, there were certain things that were absolutely destroying my productivity.
Things that, had they not been a part of my life, I would’ve got SO much more done.
These are what they were:
1) TikTok
This app is the single biggest thief of my time.
I mean, it’s easy to blame the app, but in reality, I’m the problem.
I find myself glued to TikTok for hours on end, telling myself it’s ok because I’m actually learning things, keeping up-to-date with current affairs and pop culture.
In fact, I’m lying to myself.
