4 Benefits of Working with a Small Digital Marketing Agency

I used to work at a large digital marketing agency which at one point had over 200 clients. I know how little attention big agencies provide to each individual client. That’s one of the reasons why I’ve started my own digital marketing agency. The idea was to take on only a small number of clients and projects each year in order to be able to provide each client with the attention they deserve.

There are a number of benefits of working with a small digital marketing agency:

More attention — Big agencies have dozens and sometimes even hundreds of clients. This often forces them to provide the bare minimum for each client. A small agency, on the other hand, might only work with five to ten clients. Having so few clients means that every client is extremely valuable. This is why a small agency will make sure to provide special attention and dedicated support to each of their clients.

Faster turnaround time — Small agencies can deliver projects faster because they only focus on a small number of projects at a time. Projects ran by big agencies, on the other hand, might move at a significantly slower pace.

Better pricing — Since small agencies have fewer employees, they also have less overhead. This means that they can afford to charge less and can deliver more bang for your buck as compared to big agencies.

Flexibility — Small agencies are not constrained by corporate hierarchy and company politics. This allows them to react to changes more easily and pivot more quickly.

I hope this article might make you think twice about going with one of the big, popular agencies. Contrary to popular opinion, bigger isn’t always better.
