5 Must-Listen to Podcasts for Building Online Products

If you’re building, or thinking about building an online product, here are five podcasts to check out for great advice, tips, insights and interviews.

1) Product People

Justin Jackson

Product People is a “podcast focused on great products and the people who make them.”. Each episode, Justin Jackson interviews some really interesting characters and digs deep into specific subjects of the product building process.

2) The Startup Chat

Steli & Hiten.

The Startup Chat podcast offers “unfiltered insights and actionable advice straight from the trenches of startup and business life”. Twice a week, Hiten Shah of CrazyEgg and Steli Efti of Close.io deliver a bite-sized 20 minute episode, tackling specific subjects with an open and frank discussion. Hiten’s background in marketing and Steli’s background in sales make for a great juxtaposition. At the end of each show, they sign-off with two actionable tips that you can implement at your product or business.

3) Inside Intercom

Inside Intercom offers “conversations with practitioners from the worlds of product management, design, startups and marketing”. This relatively new podcast comes from the Intercom team, who are already experts at creating content-marketing centered around product management.

4) Dorm Room Tycoon

Dorm Room Tycoon

The Dorm Room Tycoon podcast offers “interviews for designers, hackers and startup founders”. In each episode, William Channer talks to a leading thinker on a variety of subjects around building startups. Previous interviewees have included high-profile names such as Jakob Nielsen, Joshua Topolsky and MG Siegler. Each conversation reveals valuable insights that you can apply to your own product.
