5 Years in Stocks and Crypto VS Real Estate: Which Made Me More Money?
Some investments are overrated.
When it comes to investments, everybody has their own opinion about “what’s the best one.”
Some people say real estate is better because it’s a physical asset. You can see, touch, and even use a house even when the times are tough, and it is the “less risky” option because everybody eventually needs a home.
Other people say real estate is overrated, that there’s no exponential growth in the long term like in other investments, and that the stock market is better. They say that “the S&P500 has averaged a 10% annual return for nearly a century,” and all of that while requiring zero maintenance and being completely liquid (and they are right in a way; you can’t sell a bathroom if you need some cash).
Finally, there are those who say that the crypto market is superior, especially if they entered early in the game. Of all the markets, this one yields the most profits in the short and long term if you invest in the right cryptocurrencies. It always gives new people the opportunity to get rich overnight with the right luck and knowledge. But it is also the riskier one, making many people lose everything in a matter of hours.
