An Optimistic View of the Future Post-Pandemic

Every day this week, my husband and I have woken up, walked our dogs, eaten breakfast together, and then settled in at our computers to work.

We’re not commuting to offices. We’re not sitting down in cubicles. We’re not really leaving the house, honestly.

The only other time that we’ve had this sort of flexibility and freedom was during the winter holiday season — so this strange turn of events is weirdly sending our brains into holiday mode. Or, maybe a bit more specifically — it feels like an unexpected week of snow days.
