Apple just wrecked it with Apple Intelligence.

But how did this happen?

The Downfall of Grammarly

Grammarly. The name once synonymous with flawless writing and professional polish. I remember when I first signed up, bamboozled by the promises of impeccable grammar and seamless style. For a while, it felt like magic.

My typos were gone and I even started using words I hadn’t considered before.

But then, the cracks started to show.

Despite its early allure, Grammarly hasn’t kept up with the times.

Grammarly missed stupid mistakes:

  1. Homophones: Words that sound the same but have different meanings and spellings, like “there,” “their,” and “they’re.”
  2. Contextual Errors: Words that are correct alone but wrong in the context, like using “affect” instead of “effect.”
  3. Subtle Punctuation: Missing or incorrect punctuation in complex sentences, especially with commas, semicolons, and colons.
