Tim Cook kicks off Apple’s March 2019 event.

Hey folks!! Last night i am watching Apple’s March Event 2019, just thought to put highlights ✍from there to the audience . So here’s the brief about what is in apple’s 2019 bag🧐.

San Jose will host the 30th Apple Worldwide Developers Conference. There are tons of expectations this year and lots of new softwares and technologies to be launched and announced iOS 13, macOS 10.15, watchOS 6, tvOS 13, Mac Pro etc. Hope good !! 🤞

The biggest announcements from Event

Apple’s big launches are usually for shiny new gadgets. But this time, Apple dribbled out some small updates to its iPads, iMacs and AirPods last week to make way for today’s softer reveals at the “Its showtime” !!! 👩‍💻 . One of the big points is on-device tracking, so that no one besides you knows about your spending, reading or other habits.

Here’s a recap of the biggest announcements from the event.

1. APPLE CARD : an interesting one ☝️

You can call this as Apple’s thinnest and lightest status symbol ever. Isn’t it 😀?
It is promised to improve things about the credit card experience with simpler applications, no fees, lower interest rates, and better rewards by apple during the event .

To get this card, users will be able to sign up on their iPhone in the Apple Wallet app and get a digital card that they can use anywhere Apple Pay is accepted “within minutes.” Customers will also be able to track purchases, check balances, and see when their bill is due right from the app. There will be a physical titanium card, too, but there’s no credit card number, CVV, expiration date, or signature. All of that authorization information is stored directly in the Apple Wallet app. Well that’s cool enough !! 🤩

Apple also says that it’ll use machine learning and Apple Maps to label stores that you use in the app, and use that data to track purchases across categories like “food and drink” or “shopping.”

For every purchase you make, you get Daily Cash. And it really is cash. So you can spend it however you want, right from your iPhone. A titanium, laser‑etched, Apple‑designed credit card and Mastercard is our global payment network, so you can use it all over the world. For apps and websites, there’s a virtual card number in the Wallet app. It autofills for you when you’re using Safari.😎

2. APPLE NEWS PLUS: a bold play 😐

It’s $9.99 per month, first month free, with Family Sharing. Coming to the UK, Australia and Europe later this year. I guess, the Internet is too full of free news content for this to be terribly successful so i called it a bold play. But, But, But it adds an even more expansive collection of high-quality stories to the free experience of Apple News, which is the №1 news app and delivers current events coverage from trusted sources. Holey — its an on-demand service for news junkies.

There will be access up to 300 of magazines as well, which sounds like a good value, but still — much demand for a service like this , in times when video is increasingly how we consume everything. 🙃

3. APPLE TV PLUS AND CHANNELS: nothing new but “ok”👌

The new Apple TV update will now include a focus on channels like HBO, PBS, CBS, Acorn TV, and Tastemade without punting users to a third-party app. Moreover, subscribers can choose which channels they’d like to subscribe to and pay per channel instead of a traditional, large package from cable companies. However, pricing was not shared during the keynote.

“The Apple platform allows me to do what I do in a whole new way,” said Oprah at the Apple event.

Apple TV Plus is a video subscription service that will feature Apple’s growing list of original TV shows and movies. When it launches this fall, Apple TV Plus will be the exclusive way to watch that content. And Apple has poured money into forming a star-studded roster of talent working to produce programming that can hopefully stand equal with Netflix’s best shows. Even Oprah’s on board.

WHAT IS APPLE TV PLUS NOT?

Apple made no mention of a way to stream Apple TV Plus via popular desktop browsers like Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge , Netflix, on android etc.

4. APPLE ARCADE: a gaming subscription service🤖

Apple Arcade — the world’s first game subscription service for mobile, desktop and the living room. It will feature over 100 new and exclusive games, including original releases from renowned creators Hironobu Sakaguchi, Ken Wong, Will Wright and dozens more. Apple Arcade games will redefine games and be curated based on originality, quality, creativity, fun and their appeal to players of all ages.

Apple Arcade will launch in fall 2019 in more than 150 countries from a new tab on the App Store across iOS, macOS and tvOS. Unlike cloud gaming services announced by Google at GDC, Apple’s version is more like a subscription to games that are available through the App Store instead of traditional titles that you can play on sets like the PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch (unless, of course, the game is also offered on iOS).
