WWDC20 was dominated by Apple’s impending move from Intel processors to Apple developed silicon (Apple silicon). The transition would take two years, and although Apple would still support Intel-based Macs, it was clear where its heart was. Demo after demo showed off the new platform’s speed and potential for innovation.

One demo was very significant for the iPad Pro, but you would be forgiven for missing the significance. (Fast forward to 1hr 41m in the Apple wWDC20 Keynote.)
