Whether recent events have you scrambling for your passport, or you’ve been considering an international move for a while, there’s no time like the present to begin planning.

However, with so many people automatically turning to Europe, maybe you’d like something different. It’s not your vibe, and you’d rather buck the trend. You want a different cultural style, warmer climates, or fruity cocktails instead of dry wine. Whatever you’re looking for, if it’s not in Europe, you might find it in South America.

As someone who has spent the last several years in South America (and has visited just about every country I’m allowed into), I promise there’s something for everyone. But if you’re looking to move abroad, some countries make staying easier. I’m here to help point out which to consider, and which you should bypass for something else.
