Creativity is the holy grail of the world powered by the internet. Everyone is chasing flow state. Everyone admires creative professionals like they are from another planet, or born with a quill in their mouths. Motivational influencers sell habits that are guaranteed to crack the creativity code.

That reminds me of an incident I read about music prodigy.

One day, a young Composer asked Mozart: “I am thinking of writing a symphony. How should I get started?”

Mozart said: “A symphony is a very complex musical form and you are still young. Perhaps you should start with something simpler, like a concerto.”

The composer said: “But you were writing symphonies when you were 8!”

Mozart said: “Yes, but I never asked anyone how.”

Where exactly creative people belong in the world?

Take a look at the 5 richest families of America:

  • Walmart — Retail
  • Koch — Petroleum refining
  • Mars — Food products
