Dramatic Decline in Sperm Quality — If We Do Nothing, It Will End
The sperm in men might end within 50 years.
Semen quality halved
According to a study led by Dr. Hagai Levine at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, a so-called meta-study in which the researchers completed 7500 other studies conducted between 1973 and 2011,
“male reproduction is a major public health problem.”
The researchers selected 185 studies with particularly good design and then carried out their analysis and compilation.
The findings are alarming: the semen quality of men in Western countries has been reduced by 60 percent in less than 40 years.
