You pour your heart out on the computer screen, and wait to hear a voice that might resonate with your own.
Of late, I’ve seen a lot of top writers mention the power of networking events for creatives. I’ve been to many, and I know they can be life-changing.
But the number of events you have to attend to make one potentially life-changing connection is staggering. If you don’t meet the right people, you might end up spending your precious time and money for nothing.
In this post, I’m sharing my views on how networking isn’t the “solution” for creatives, as is often portrayed on social media. Not networking, and keeping to yourself, gives you many amazing opportunities as a creative.
