What’s that weird blob in our head that we can’t live without, yet know absolutely nothing about?

Hint: it literally makes you, you. Everyone has one (although it may not seem like it sometimes…😁)

Mind = blown

It’s the brain, of course!

Our brain does everything for us. It controls our responses to stimuli, enables us to have thoughts and emotions, regulates the function of all organs, and stores our memories and experiences. Some pretty important stuff.

I like to compare the brain to the kidney. If I removed one of your kidneys, you’d still be able to live a normal, productive life. However, if I took a chunk out of your brain, your life would be drastically different, to say the least…

What’s ironic about this is that we know pretty much all there is to know about the kidney, but we know nothing about the brain. We don’t understand it… At. All.
