How I Run a 5-Figure-a-Month Agency With 0 Employees
Here are the 10 lessons I learned throughout the way
1. FOMO always leads to bad clients and cuts the overall revenue
In the beginning, I accepted projects just because I feared missing out on opportunities.
I could agree on clients who paid much less than I would have expected, just because I didn’t have a consistent client flow at the time.
This led to working with clients who were paying $300 and asked to build a rocket ship with tons of revisions.
But in reality, if I’d say NO to these clients, I’d save more energy for the big ones.
In other words, while trying to catch some small fish, you might miss the big one.
2. Acquiring a new customer is 5 to 25 times more expensive than retaining an existing one
A study by Harvard Business Review indicates that the cost of acquiring new clients can be much higher than keeping an existing one.
