Going solo may be fun as a creative, but have you thought about collaborating with others?

I’ve spent a few years watching creatives do wild collaborations — writers, marketers, photographers, podcasters, YouTubers. And I’ve seen first-hand the results.

They were better than my solo efforts.

A well-executed collaboration could change your trajectory as a creative. Or at least shift you up your trajectory.

It has a massive upside that will open — and usher you through — giant French doors of opportunity.

You get to learn from the experiences of others. And you get to compare and pick up fresh insights. As different as the various creative endeavors may seem, you’ll find more similarities than distinctions.

Despite these immense benefits, many creatives don’t collaborate nearly as often, nearly as well. But say, as a writer, what if you teamed up with another writer to produce a long-form post? (We can’t leave it to only academics and researchers).

Sometimes, it’s hard to pull off these creator collaborations. But if you’ve hardly given that a thought, here’s a nudge to get your thinking in that direction.
