90% of people can’t tell the difference between a video filmed on an iPhone and a handheld camera.

Creating high-quality video content doesn’t have to break the bank. Here are three simple steps to get you started:

1. Start with what you have

There’s a famous quote, “The best camera is the one you’ve got.”

And for 98% of people, that’s the phone in their pocket. Use your smartphone to film your A-ROLL and B-ROLL.

  • A-ROLL is the main clip. It’s generally the one where the speaker talks to the camera.
  • B-ROLL is a secondary clip. Use it to cut away from the speaker to demonstrate what’s being talked about.

Most people watch videos off their phones too, and when you film with expensive cameras you have to downsize the footage anyway to fit on a phone screen.

Your phone automatically optimizes video for viewing on other phones.

2. Use natural light

There’s a guy who takes walks, holds his phone up to his face, and talks to it about finance.
