How to deal with rejection when you start writing
and how to move on
I got rejections from multiple publications. I didn’t know if I would ever get good at writing. Everyone wondered what this writing thing was all about, kept going, kept writing, and started getting writing jobs. I got a chance to work with great data scientists and editors who enabled me to improve my technical and writing skills. They went out of their way to give me valuable feedback and hand-hold me in creating great technical content. I never looked back, I kept writing, and jobs kept coming. If I had let the rejections and negative comments stop me, I wouldn’t be in this place.

Evaluate why the rejection happened
You can learn a lot from the rejections. If feedback is provided, apply it and try to improve. In other cases, it might not be provided. In such cases, you can evaluate your submission based on the requirements posted by the company. It also helps…
