How to Earn $100 as a Writer
It starts with $100 and ends with whatever you make it.
Every wannabe writer wants to make a cool $2000 every single week with their stories.
I’m not even a new writer and I want that. I want to make as much as the top writers on Medium. I constantly read about their success and how they are making $5000 from a single blog post.
But I disagree with this notion of teaching people to make mega-profits from writing, especially as a starting point. It’s not that I don’t think it’s possible, it’s that I don’t think it’s a realistic starting point for any writer.
The reality for any self-sufficient writer is that it takes incredible amounts of work to make a living as a writer. It can take thousands and thousands of words to make it work.
That is why I tell people who are interested in a writing career that they need to start small. They don’t need to aim for $5000 in their first month. Just aim for $100.
If you can make $100 as a writer, you can eventually make $5000.
