Cloud computing has been all the rage in the tech industry for the last couple of years. Chances are, your purchasing, using, or building some sort of cloud-based technology already. According to the State of DevOps report, “Cloud continues to be a differentiator for elite performers and drives high performance.” In addition, an interesting finding from the Stack Overflow Developer Survey was that 71.6% of respondents loved their AWS platform.

There is however another trend rising that will surpass “Cloud” in 2021, you might even have already started to notice it yourself. That is the concept of the “Hybrid Cloud.”

As businesses gain more experience in cloud adoption, they continue to find that their most valuable commodity, data, heavily resides on-premise. Integrating, using, and exposing that data from the cloud is a huge pain point.
