My initial goal was to hit 1,000 subscribers before the end of October. I was way off by 955. But after my first 30 days on YouTube, I should hit 1,000+ views. And I have done this without any paid promotion. Here are the things I have learned so far…

Before going into the 7 lessons, you need to understand that building something new is hard. When I made my goal to hit 1,000 subscribers in 3 weeks, I had no idea how to do that.

The only thing I know was that I have a good work ethic, and I generally have an idea of the kind of content I want to do. I knew nothing about the YouTube algorithm, which is a good thing.

If I knew about the YouTube algorithm, I’d start overthinking what I should do and not do anything. But I just plunged and dived in.

So, if you want to start a YouTube channel or anything like that, don’t start buying fancy equipment and consuming how-to videos. Instead, just start. Jump head first and when you have started, you can improve.

You will improve as you go on. Just start.
