It sounds too good to be true, right? To be honest, when I first heard about the one-minute habit idea, I scoffed.
One minute? Seriously? It sounded like the kind of advice you get from motivational gurus on YouTube, something like “Just believe in yourself and everything will fall into place!”
I’ll be honest — like most people, I’ve always been drawn to the allure of big goals. Whether it was deciding to overhaul my diet, start a rigorous workout routine, or read 50 books a year, my resolutions were always ambitious. I was like go big or go home kinda person.
But as we all know goals like these, rarely stick. The excitement would fade after a week or so if I even made it to that point, and I’d end up feeling guilty and frustrated for not following through.
