I often get asked how I find the time to produce so much work and publish it online. One of the big reasons is because I avoid meetings at all costs.

But not in a smart ass way. The idea is simple: my mission in life, to inspire people with my writing, is very important to me and nothing is going to get in the way or stop me from achieving that goal.

The meaning of your life is incredibly powerful when it comes to managing your time and having a driving force that helps you say no to meetings.

My approach to avoid being ridiculously busy at work is really quite straightforward and doesn’t require a life coach, a raging personal brand, or a cold shower to make it happen.

My approach is to avoid meetings at work at all costs.

Meetings at work drain my life and my mind wanders. Rarely is anything achieved that couldn’t have been summed up in a short email.

The purpose of a meeting is to get to the action items. You can achieve that goal without having a meeting in the first place.
