Ignoring These Simple Questions as a Writer Cost Me Thousands of Dollars
How I left so much money on the table
I never dreamed of becoming a millionaire writer. But at the same time, when I knew I could earn some money for my efforts, I knew I had to maximize my earnings.
Except I didn’t always do it. A friend tells me it’s not as straightforward as I make it seem.
But knowing my potential, I have no doubt I’ve left so much money on the table. With the prefect benefit of hindsight, I’ve seen the many little ways I let that happen.
It all boiled down to me failing to make things clear on some conflicting points of view, some crucial questions that needed solid and convincing answers. Here are some of the biggest.
Is the spending a cost or investment
When it comes to spending on a venture — business, career, or, in my case, writing online, the price to pay had two equally relevant tags. On the one hand, I saw that new book, course, or coaching as a cost, a hefty cost.
And yes, if you’re starting, some four-figure products on the market appear expensive. And I’ve forgiven myself for seeing some of those products as a cost.
