Have you lost your motivation?

As you reflect on your current life, ask yourself, is something missing?

Do you strive for more yet lack the motivation and confidence to step outside of your comfort zone?

If you don’t know how to jumpstart your motivation, take a minute to focus on your inner self. What is it that’s holding you back? Is it fear, or perhaps a lack of self-confidence?

Regardless of what stops you from achieving more, one thing is certain — making things happen will start with you. As you shift your current state-of-mind, understanding that you are in the driver’s seat, you quickly realize that anything is possible.

Put yourself out there and make things happen — things that truly matter.

Take Control Today

We tend to love excuses, don’t we?

It’s easier to blame others or our circumstances instead of taking responsibility. As you become more motivated, however, and begin unlocking your true potential, you’ll see that you were always capable of becoming the best possible version of yourself.

We’re all unique with our own sense of purpose, so ask yourself, what is it that motivates you, makes you optimistic and provides you a sense of meaning? This guides you to the heart of your inner motivation.

Next, think about your personal strengths. How can they help you achieve your short- and long-term goals? How can your strengths give you a sense of confidence?

Get Your into Your Motivation Zone

The following tips will help you make things happen:

  • Start small — Changing your perspective and demanding more from yourself won’t happen overnight. Each and every day, you need to take small steps towards a more positive self-image. Each small action encourages big results and builds your confidence.
  • Practice visualization — Do you often dream about what could be? Well, why not make those dreams a reality? When you visualize where you want to be in life, this mental imagery can act as your guiding light and give you a sense of optimism. Visualization encourages a new outlook on life, resulting in inspiration and positive action. These changes will come from within, so remain focused, motivated and, most importantly, have faith in yourself.
  • Stay true to your authentic self — When you truly let go of the fear that’s holding you back, you will begin to develop your true sense of self. When life tries to change you into someone you’re not, you need to listen to your inner voice. No matter what, stay true to your core values, take risks, and surround yourself with inspiring people.

Be brave and challenge your current routine, reflecting on what Tony Robbins once said,

“Change your story, change your life. Divorce the story of limitation, and marry the story of the truth — and everything changes.”

Beginning today by focusing on a goal that excites and motivates you. Taking positive initiative is within your power. Start by taking a stand in your personal power, authenticity, and truth.

This is your life. Are you ready to live it?

Changing your story starts with asking the hard questions and ends with the truth. When you can see the truth clearly, it becomes easier to take your Unique path to a life of freedom and authenticity.
