Making Money Online Is Stupidly Simple If You Allow It to Be

You don’t need to take huge risks either.

Making money online feels like building a rocket to take humans to Jupiter.

I’ve done the courses, listened to the podcasts, been to the pre-pandemic live events, been on Clubhouse social media groups, and met every guru who claims to be Elon Musk’s cousin.

All of it bores me to death. Making a little money online is made out to be so difficult. The complexity discourages normal people from trying to do it — perhaps that is how the elites keep all the upside.

My approach to making money online is stupidly simple and it has served me well. Steal it. Then do it if you dare.

Build a skill

Let’s cut through all the big words like ‘entrepreneurship’ that scares you (and me). You need a skill. Money comes from a skill. You experiment with a few different skills and then pick one. It won’t be the perfect skill. It doesn’t need to be. A decision simply means to cut off all the other options.

You can pick the skill of storytelling, teaching, writing, podcasting, graphic design, skateboarding, violin playing, singing … what evs. The skill you pick doesn’t matter.
