Money.

Some people hate talking about it. Many others talk about it the entire time. Regardless of which camp you belong to, one thing is for real.

Money issues affect all of us. Yes, all.

My mates and I met for coffee this Sunday afternoon. It has been a long while since we last met. Our conversation started with our families, swung to our wretched jobs, and then inevitably landed on the Big M.

Our perspectives revolved around 1 anchor topic.

Just how much is enough for a comfortable life, exactly?

It started with a YouTube Short

Jim and Kevin arrived before me.

They spoke about their kids, the unbelievably expensive preschool education in Singapore, and the amount of money bleeding from their pockets.

These mates of mine are nice people. They know I am still childless, so they stopped that topic as I took my seat. I smiled and said they could continue while I waited for my iced coffee to be served.

Jim moved on.
