On Saturday, Ms Sitharaman said: “Govt. will provide predictable policy and regulatory environment and allow the private sector to use ISRO facilities. Future projects for travel in outer space or exploration of new planets will be open to the private sector. Govt. will ease geospatial data policy to make such remote-sensing data more widely available to tech entrepreneurs, with safeguards put in place.” However, this announcement was reflected from the draft bill of space 2017 https://www.isro.gov.in/update/21-nov-2017/seeking-comments-draft-space-activities-bill-2017-stake-holders-public-regarding, which was proposed to promote and regulate the space activities in India. It was made public in 2017 to enable suggestions and comments from the general public and space startup players.

India has also proved its ability to carry out interplanetary missions through a mission like Mars Orbiter Mission and Chandrayaan Mission…
