Save Your Sanity: Tips for Working from Home without Going Stir-Crazy

You’re living the freelancing dream, working from home.

Some days you work in your pj's, other days you don’t start working until noon. You can stay up late, sleep in, and run errands in between projects.

After the first year, you’re starting to feel indifferent about working from home. Walls are closing in, your routine is hard to get through, and isolation is gradually coming into fruition.

Something has to change, other than working a traditional 9 to 5 job. Here are ways to stay sane while working from home.

Find a Second Workplace

Preferably one away from home. A change of scenery does wonders for reigniting creativity and solidifying a consistent workday.

Coworking spaces have become popular as of late, where you pay a fee to gain access to desks and office spaces. Also good for networking, you’ll find other freelancers and small business owners there.

If there aren’t any in your area, opt for your local coffee shop or another place with WiFi access. You also want to make sure it’s a place…
