Sometimes, You’ll Need To Write Your Own Success Story
There are entrepreneurs & other successful folks that have made a name for themselves for talking eloquently and have held a sizeable amount of time spewing sense & evoked motivation. Some have titled themselves motivational speakers & the others thought leaders.
It’s amazing how impeccable their oratory skills are and how they’ve stood out in trying to impart as much inspiration to those hoping to be better than they are right now & yes, make money while at it too.
In the same sense, there are folks that moons ago, got out of their comfort zones, worked their asses off and became really successful. When they speak of the journey they’ve trekked to get to where they are now, a sense of admiration clouds the air. It’s an amazing thing when you see someone come from dust to gold through putting their weight on their hustles, rolling up sleeves and getting work done. Undoubtedly, their stories are such a marvel.
However, for some reason, everyone that has seemingly ‘made it in life’ always feels the need to tell other people what they’ve to do about their hustles and maybe what they’re not doing right with huge braggadocio. There’s the dire urge for those people to share their “inspirational stories” in a bid to get us inspired and be like them, maybe! It’s a great thing, like really great.
See, we can never really be the same. Everyone has their own race to run. Everyone has their time if anything is to ever come their way. When we all set out to start a journey, the zeal to finish it all the way to the finish line lies within oneself.
Hey, fellow youths, I know there are so many stories we can draw inspiration from, there are many examples of success stories that we’ll listen to and are instantly triggered to work harder than hard. There are people you look at and you’re instantly taken away by how they’ve made it and you instantly want to be like them or better. I get it.
However, if you’re ever going to make it in life, you hold the power to making that happen. Even if you sat & watched millions of inspirational videos, listened to thousands of motivational speakers, read hundreds of success stories, if you’re not going to do whatever you can in your means, it will never make sense.
Some days will come and we’ll need to write our own stories, we’ll need to make our hustle unique, we’ll need to bring a new dawn of success that has never been seen. On a normal day, we’ll not need to hear stories of those that made it but we’ll have to listen to our own voices, learn from our own trials & tribulations to keep us going.
My entire life can be summed up in four words: I hustled. I conquered. — Unknown
