How to destroy your business by neglecting marketing and sales!

Unfortunately, most founders only focus on the beginning and the middle of the value-added process. The founders develop an idea and create a product. They do not focus on sales and marketing.
But this is the worst mistake a founder can make: You invest a lot of money in your company and your products, but not in your sales and marketing.
Many founders have the opinion that their products will sell themselves because the quality is so good. However, this assumption is preceded by some misconceptions.

Thinking error number 1:

The customers can judge the quality only if they have purchased your product. Without proper marketing and a successful selling, your customers will not buy the product however at all.

Thinking error number 2:

The founder assumes that the customer will recognize the quality immediately. Besides, the founder believes that the quality standards, which were set up by him, are fundamental also for the customers. However, this is true in very few cases.
