When I first started submitting my creative writing to publications, I cozied up in front of my laptop screen and sent my writing to any place that had submissions open. I knew nothing about these journals, having barely read their guidelines. In short, submitting everywhere seemed like a good idea. The more places I submit, the better chance I have. Right?
