The month of February is barely halfway through, but it has been nothing short of a whirlwind for Tessica Brown (better known as ‘Gorilla Glue Girl’) as she became an instant meme after an unfortunate hair incident.

In January, Brown found herself out of her Got2b Glued Spray, a hair product that ensures maximum hold on hairstyles. In an interview, she explains that her decision to use Gorilla Glue adhesive instead was due to her being in a rush to leave her house. She did this with the assumption that she could simply wash it out when she returned home. Unfortunately, Brown did not realize that Gorilla Glue adhesive is 100% waterproof and that her hair would be stuck in its style for over a month.

On February 3rd, a month after applying the Gorilla Glue spray and failed attempts to get it out, Brown took to TikTok desperate to find a solution to her problem. She even goes as far as to demonstrate by putting shampoo directly on her head, scrubbing vigorously. But it is clear that not only will the shampoo not penetrate her hair, but it is easily wiped away with a towel. Her hair had essentially become an unmoveable helmet.

Stage One: Laughter + Criticism
