The CEO Rules I Would Implement on My Contract if I Ever Go Back to a Full-Time Job
Bien an employee is bad because you let them rule you.
If I’m being honest, I’m terrified of being an employee again.
My life as a full-time worker was quite traumatic, to the point that I had PSTD for a long time after leaving my last job (one of my eyes was twitching from stress, and I could hardly sleep, thinking I had forgotten to do something and I’m going to be yelled for months).
And right now, I get anxious just thinking about interviews.
Part of what I hate most about having an office job is the ridiculous rules imposed on employees and how almost always a superior feels that they can control your life as if it were their own.
They check your arrival time, get upset about your departure time, tell you when to eat and when to check your phone, and sometimes, even analyze you every time you stand up to go to the bathroom.
For this reason, if at some point I have to work for a company again, I would establish my own rules that have worked for me as an entrepreneur.
“But Dessy, a boss will never let you do what you want in a company.”
