Writing on Medium is different than writing anywhere else. You must follow certain criteria if you want to succeed. At the same time, you are invited to keep your voice intact — be true to yourself. Furthermore, Medium challenges you to write about the subjects you are interested in and that’s when you get to develop a fundamental skill.

Critical thinking.

My first touch with this platform started by July 2018. I chose Medium to write my first article, by chance, but only because I had noticed it’s growing popularity. I had to intention to adhere to the growth. It was just the intention to write about a subject that I wanted to dissect, and Medium got my attention. I expected that by the end, my questions would be answered.

I always felt attracted to writing, but back at that time, I had never put the forth effort. Yet, despite being far from knowing my joy here was not exclusive to writing, it was still joy. I knew how to research, so nothing should stop me from finding a few similar articles, but something did. Instead, I was compelled to bring reasoning to the first plane. That meant answering my questions and develop my theories — and what I knew would have to suffice…
