There Is so Much More to Life
Don’t get caught up in dumb shit.
Sometimes I hate being a blogger very much. It carries with it this strange obsession that people have to be known or to be famous. Both being known and being famous are fucking horrible when you have touched either of them on any level.
They are such useless and unhelpful pursuits in life. They don’t mean anything.
Dumb shit in life looks like this:
- Caring about what other people think of you
- Chasing fame or notoriety
- Spending your time doing stuff you hate
There is so much more to experience and do in life than dumb shit that is pointless. If you really want to have followers, then I’ll give you the login details to my writing accounts that have followers.
Go on, ask me. It’s absolutely pointless and will bring you no joy. A bloke at a coffee catch up yesterday asked me about going viral. I wanted to be sick. A guy the week before wanted to know if he could pay me to help him build followers. This also made me feel sick.
I wish I could teleport someone into these bullshit realities and show them that they are just not interesting, fun, exciting or worthy — and they really, really, really don’t matter. There is so much more to life.
