The most profound insights are often hidden under direct responses, whether in human conversations or AI interactions.

Understanding this made me interact with AI in about the same way I interact with humans.

This way, I have been able to get better outputs from these chatbots without using sophisticated prompts.

Here’s what I mean.

When I talk to people, I usually follow the 7–39–55 rule by listening to more than their words; I listen to body language, facial expression, tone, and, more importantly, the things they imply but don’t say directly.

This has helped me cultivate rich relationships, by allowing me to better understand and connect with others.

I apply similar technique when I use AI.

Yes, with AI there’s no body language, facial expressions, or voice tone; the only thing there are are inferences — the things these chatbots imply but don’t explicitly say.
