To Really ‘Drain the Swamp’, Our Nation Needs to Make These 11 Changes

Removing corruption from our government will not be easy.

The first step that must be taken to drain the swamp is to remove Trump and his minions from power. This is the easy part. The next steps are much more difficult, but these changes may just save our Republic.

Between 1961 and 1971, there were four amendments to our Constitution. This time it will take at least eleven new amendments to the Constitution. Such changes to the governance framework will never completely remove corruption. These changes will make corruption much more difficult. Making these changes at the Constitutional level will prevent their being overturned by the courts.

This is what I call an ‘ideas story.’ I hold no monopoly on ideas. I hope that others will provide input in the comments section. Americans love to discuss ideas that will make our country better. Unfortunately, few consider the fact that we have to make changes to our government or none of our ideas will come to fruition. These are my ideas for a better government.

I am very interested in seeing these changes made to our Constitution because I believe these changes would lead to a government that works for all the people. These changes would break the gridlock in Washington. These changes would lead to a new
