Back in my youth I had a life-changing epiphany. I had already survived a childhood that would cost me thousands in therapy to unravel (who hasn’t) and gone through a disappointing marriage and divorce (as many have). I’d come out of the birth canal surprising all comers who said I wouldn’t make it a full 24 hours before I succumbed to a malady my mother never fully explained.
