Running a business is a lot like trying to be an Instagram influencer.

Ok, I know that sounds super millennial of me, but hear me out.

I am not an Instagram influencer. Gosh, no. I don’t have a clue where they draw the influencer line, but if it’s the Equator, I’m at the North Pole. On Mars.

My 300 followers on my personal account have been waiting for an update for years now. I figure I’ll let them know I enjoyed my meal at the Outback Steakhouse sometime in 2023, 2024, give or take.

So while my own social presence is rather…lackingI do have a dog! A beautiful white Samoyed. And she is as adorable and aesthetic as they come.

She, unlike me, is a micro-celebrity. Her Instagram account has about 11,000 followers, and we’ve had some posts spread to 50,000+ people, with engagement (likes, shares, etc.) in the thousands. It’s pretty wild.

Let me tell you the story of her Instagram account.

It’s a story of ambitions, efforts, and realities.
