Why Failures Are Building Blocks Not Barriers to Solopreneur Success

Here are five valuable lessons I learned from my failures that helped me build a solopreneur business that regularly earned me a six figure annual income.

I will start each of these success tips with my failure and then talk about what I learned and show you how I turned each failure into a strength that proved invaluable to my eventual success.

Let’s begin by recognising the truth that failure is an inevitable part of trying to achieve anything. When I read the words, “Show me a man who has never failed, and he’ll be a man who never did anything, “ I realised that it’s not a sin to fail. In fact, failing can be a good thing in many ways.

So, if you’ve got a few failures under your belt, I say, “Well done you. I salute that you have done something, maybe many things, to try to help yourself.”

1. Don’t try to be like someone else

This happened when I was only seven years old. I had been living as a feral child in the African bush. I guess my parents suddenly hit the “worry button” and decided I needed to go to school. So, I was put on a plane and sent to a boarding school in another country.
